My Dad
I can't recall my Dad ever calling into work sick.
I remember him being sick but he never missed work.
Could be with ten people to feed it wasn't an option.
In my 35 years of working, if u count babysitting and house cleaning from about 14 years old, I have called in sick sometimes even when I wasn't!
I remember I was over there picking up Wade the night his heart attack started. I had gone into the bedroom where he was sitting on the edge of the bed, to kiss him by and he told me "I got baaaaaaaaad indigestions".
Wish I had been smart enough to know that it could be heart trouble.
But I didn't and he had always had indigestion and ulcers, so there was always a good supply of maloxx on hand.
